Suanna

I’m interested in seeing how this program works. Is level 1 considered 1st grade?

Robin E. Williams

says: Customer Service

Suanna,
Not exactly. Like all of our programs, concepts are presented incrementally to help develop mastery along the way, so a few specific topics may be presented earlier or later than typical grade-level programs. AAM 1 covers most kindergarten math skills and a significant portion of first grade. Because of this, it will be important to use the math placement tests to ensure you start at the level that meets your student’s needs.

Suanna

says:

Thanks, Robin. I was looking at the scope and sequence chart and it looks like we are already about 2/3 of the way through the level 1 material, so I am considering if I want use this beginning with level 2 in our next school year.

This will be a good for us to add to our curriculum. Thank you for this amazing giveaway. Can you buy these books in book store? Thank you again for this giveaway

Robin E. Williams

says: Customer Service

Good question.

There are a few bookstores around the word that carry our materials, but they are small, independent ones that specialize in homeschooling or similar topics. You won’t find our materials in most bookstores, however. They are available through us and through a few other online homeschool retailers.

I’m an OG reading tutor, and I work mostly with homeschool families. After my students have become readers, so many parents then ask: “Can you help my child the same way with math?” “Can you recommend a math series that I could use for my homeschooler?” I am optimistic that All About Math could help me answer both of those questions with a very confident “Yes!”
