What Does My Student Need to Know before Beginning Level 2?
Students should complete All About Spelling Level 1 before starting Level 2. All About Spelling is a building block program: each level builds upon the previous one. In order to build a strong foundation, most students start with Level 1. If you have questions, please contact us and we'd be happy to help!

Wanted to share a success story…
My 8-year-old daughter suffers from severe anxiety due to mild dysgraphia, which caused her to always be “last” or “behind” or “stupid” or “wrong” in public school.
We started homeschooling last year. We found All About Spelling. We have almost completed Book 2. She was just finishing a geography packet and said, “Mom! I think I just spelled ‘equator’ all by myself and correctly!” I asked her to please self-check by looking the word up in the dictionary. She squealed with delight when she discovered that she had spelled the word correctly. She said, “I used my spelling rules and phonograms and did it!”
So, thank you from the bottom of my heart. What a joy.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found All About Spelling and All About Reading. I am homeschooling my four children. My third child was not picking up phonics as easily as my first two did. We did testing and discovered he has dyslexia. I was in a panic. Our doctor recommended using something based on the Orton-Gillingham method. We began working with a reading tutor using the Wilson Method, and I purchased a different phonics program to use at home.
Two years later, I noticed my son did not seem to be retaining the things he was learning in his spelling lessons. He could do all the work, and do well on the test, but a week later would have forgotten how to spell the words. That is when I began searching and found All About Spelling. We are in our second year of using it, and have added in All About Reading. It is such a blessing to our family. My son is progressing rapidly in his spelling and his reading. Our reading tutor feels like his dramatic improvement is due to the additional work we are doing at home with AAS and AAR. I have shared our story with friends who have struggling spellers. They have switched to AAS, and report good results. My reading tutor recently recommended your products to another of her clients, as well. I love how easy you have made it to prepare for the lessons. Thank you for helping me give my children the foundation they need. You guys are making a huge difference in the lives of my children, and many others. Thank you!!

My 10 year-old daughter is doing really well with both AAR and AAS. She went from getting around 10% correct at public school on spelling tests to high nineties and 100% daily now. Her reading is coming along as well. Thanks for putting this program together.
