  1. Great Concept, Not Great Quality 3 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Mar 2015

I am a mobile tutor. Some of my students meet me in cafes or libraries. Two of them started using the boxes a few months ago. One boy dropped his and ALL of the cards fell out, so that was quite a disaster. We put rubber bands on the boxes to prevent spillage, but the box is broken now. It really isn't durable for travel, but is fine for students who keep it at home. Perhaps a more durable travel box will be a future product!

  2. The Much Needed Box! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Feb 2015

After reading several reviews about the infamous "all about spelling" learning tools on different websites, I read a couple that spoke about how much the box is needed. I was skeptical because I am the type of person who can almost always find a way around most things. Well, after much contemplation of whether I needed the box or not, I decided to go ahead and purchase two ( I have two students). The box works wonderfully and I do not need to look elsewhere to find anything else for the rest of the levels! Thank you for the now infamous "spelling review box!"

  3. Mixed Feelings after Completing Many Levels 3 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Nov 2014

I am not sure why the company advertises that all of the cards fit in this box. Levels 1-3 almost fit in the box, but not quite. It really takes 3 or more boxes to fit all of the cards, and the price really adds up. While the box is more durable than the average cardboard box, it isn't as durable as a heavy plastic. And yet, I still bought the box, because the cards aren't a standard size.

Thanks for your feedback, Elisabeth. In the description of this product, we state that "this box is large enough to hold the Phonogram Cards, Sound Cards, and Key Cards from all seven levels of the program, plus the Word Cards from the current level you are working on." The Word Cards from previous levels should be stored elsewhere, rubberbanded or in a different box, because they aren't used for review purposes after they've been mastered. If we made the box large enough to store the Word Cards from all levels, the box would have to be nearly two feet in length. Thanks!
