Failure is not an option

Hi, I’m Marie Rippel! When my son was just 9 years old, he was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. Experts told me that he would never be able to read or spell. Of course, my husband and I refused to believe them.

Watch the video below to learn more about my personal story and how my son was able to overcome all odds.

You see, it wasn’t that my son didn’t have the ability to read; he simply hadn’t been given the right tools. This realization and my background in language arts education led me to create the programs that thousands of parents and children have come to know and love: All About Reading and All About Spelling.

Based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, these multisensory programs teach through a logical sequence that leaves NO GAPS in the learning process. Best of all, these methods benefit all types of learners—not just those who struggle.

Where we are today

After seeing the amazing impact that the All About Reading and All About Spelling methods had on my son, I decided that I had to share my programs with others. All About Learning Press began in my northern Wisconsin home in in 2006. When we outgrew the space in 2011, we built “The Hive,” which now houses our offices and warehouse.

We are a family-owned business and our mission is simple: to provide language arts resources that are easy to learn and easy to teach. And we have a lot of fun doing it!

Here is some of the crew, “horsing” around:
