All About Math

All About Math will have five levels covering elementary mathematics (K-5th grade).

All About Math Level 5 will tentatively be released in 2026.

Our All About Math Level 1 placement test can help you decide whether your child is ready to begin the math program.

All About Math will have 5 levels that cover kindergarten through 5th-grade math skills. Like all of our programs, concepts are presented incrementally to help develop mastery along the way, so a few specific topics may be presented earlier or later than typical grade-level programs. Please use the placement tests to ensure you start at the level that meets your student's needs.

We recommend spending about 20 minutes per day on math lessons, but you can adjust this recommendation for early learners or struggling students. You do not need to complete an entire lesson in one day—some lessons may even take a week or more to cover. The speed at which a lesson can be completed depends on your child's age, attention span, prior experience, and the concepts being taught.

Yes. The All About Math Manipulatives Kit contains all the manipulatives required for all 5 levels of All About Math. It is a one-time purchase used throughout the program. The majority of lessons in every level will use one or more of the manipulatives.

I'm sorry, we don't have the manipulative components for individual purchase, as the manipulative sets come to us pre-packaged from our supplier. However, you can contact Hand2Mind to order the specific components you need.

No. One kit will be enough for 2 or 3 children working at the same time, and more than enough if the children are working on math separately.

While you may be able to substitute other manipulatives at times, our manipulatives were carefully chosen to make specific concepts clear. You may have to make your own adaptations to lessons to use different manipulatives, and that may cause some lessons to be less effective.

All About Math is mastery and sequential. Mastery is required at the level a student is currently working at, but broad topic areas are covered in more depth and complexity as students move through the levels.
