Have you ever noticed that some dogs look like their owners?<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The mere suggestion of this possibility opened the floodgates for us here at All About Learning Press.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

While pondering the question, I jokingly asked, \u201cIf dogs look like their owners, could it also be true that book characters resemble their creators?\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Well, one day my staff decided to put the theory to the test. I wasn't quite sure what to think about it, but they used a Venn diagram to compare me with Warren Pig, the main character in one of the decodable stories<\/a> from All About Reading<\/cite><\/a> Level 4. (If you haven\u2019t met Warren yet, you can read about him in \u201cPigs in the Kitchen\u201d<\/a>.)<\/p>\r\n\r\n

So\u2026what\u2019s the verdict? How much do Warren and I have in common? Here\u2019s what my staff discovered:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"The<\/a>\r\n\r\n

Well, Warren and I certainly do have some interesting things in common, but we have some big differences too!<\/p>\r\n\r\n
